Tips on How to do Maintenance on Pianos

Whether you are a professional pianos player, or you play just to keep yourself busy and entertained, you need to be careful how you handle pianos. This will determine how long they will last and the quality of music that they will be playing. Servicing your piano every few months is compulsory.
Ask a professional to come into your house to ensure that everything in your piano is in top working condition. Also, learn a few basic things about the workings of a piano so that you can do weekly maintenance on your own, like tuning of the internal knobs.
This knowledge will also help you to know if something is amiss on your piano, its severity and if you can fix it yourself. However, depending on how bad your piano is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself in case you make matters worse. Also do occasional dusting inside the piano to keep it working well.
so I am a beginner at guitar and am learning the acoustic guitar on my own. Note that I already read music, and have been playing the piano for 11 years so I already know about chords and harmony and things like that, and do plan to become a music major in college (i’m 16). I do have a beginner guitar book, but I really want to know the ins and outs of guitar maintenance.I’m already good on tuning, so I don’t really need help on that, but is there any need to know things about maintaining my guitar. Like how do I know when the strings are no longer good, and how do I change them. Can I do it myself?
I also want to put on a guitar strap, but my guitar only has one button at the butt, is there a way to put on the strap without drilling a hole into the guitar
any other really important stuff I should know about the guitar would be great, or any way to help my playing better
I don’t want anything that i have to download, i need something i can buy from pc world, online or in the shop, or some other computer shop, that isn’t illegal in anyway in the UK, some place i know i can trust.
I don’t want to download it from the internet because my parents don’t let me download anything, because they think it will get the computer viruses.
I was thinking about saving up for a mac so i could use garage band, i am not too sure that it is worth it. My laptop is Windows Vista so i need something compatible with that. I can play the guitar the violin and the piano, so i need one where you can record your own things, but i need it to have little clips or like loops with the mac, so i can put in the drums or something like that.
Could you also give me the address on the internet with more information about it please, i really need this software, and i need to learn all i can about it before i buy it, tutorials on youtube or something would be helpful too, thanks
